 At Magic Carpet our process that we use is a steam clean truck mount unit.  This process is what Shaw Manufacturers recommends and they are the largest carpet manufacturer in the world.  We first pre-treat any areas of special concern.  We then shampoo, rinse with 230 degree water which kills anything living in the carpet.  Finally we extract with 15 pounds of suction.  When we are finished your carpet it is not only clean and healthy but it is PH balanced as well.  That means there is no residue left behind thus, it will stay clean longer.  We move the heavy furniture forward, clean underneath, and move it back and put tabs underneath the legs so that the stain from the furniture doesn't stain the carpet.  

 Our carpet technicians are IICRC certified (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification)  in carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning. This means they have gone to schools that educate them on all the latest advancements by an accredited school and they are tested to ensure their knowledge.
